So, as some of you may know. Myself and Nick James are having an open house exhibition at my house. 'Open heart Century'.
Friday 20th June 7pm onwards, Saturday 21st June 12-4pm.
We hope that you will come along, respond to the work if you wish to do so, and follow on with your own ideas... if not its just an opportunity to get people together, get ideas flowing and of course drink some beer!
Mine and Nicks work is very different, and we have created work separately, we then hope to respond to each others work after the show.
My new works consist of mainly slide work, with the subject of memory, chance, recollection; a mystery still remains within images reused.
Through out the work, subject matters are repeated in different forms, layers of history and memory are taken away, added and sometimes are difficult to separate from previous images..
I also will be exhibiting some more printmaking work, working intuitively, simple mark making and shapes invoking new thoughts and imagery within the works.
I will add more pictures as I make work, but will only preview a few images..
